Submit

Rolling Bulb would like to bring quality art/design/society journalism to the internet.

“Text” submissions:

1- Quality essays of at least 800 words, please.
2- Essays can be observation-centric, critique-based, or research-driven.
3- Intriguing interviews with creative and inspiring people in any format you deem suitable.
4- Multi-part essays and regular columns are also welcome. If you have an idea in that regard, send us your general concept along with 3 sample installments.
5- Spell-check carefully. This is a labor of love; nobody has time to edit other people’s writing.
6- If you are including photos with your essay, captions should be in italics, describing the photo and naming/linking the source.

“Photo” submissions:

1- Send a picture that tells a story.
2- Alternatively, it can be a photo-essay series.
3- It must be original (your own work).
4- Illustrations are accepted.


“Quote” submissions:

If you’ve come across a great quote, we’re always looking for one.


“Video” submissions:

As a web-magazine, we are not only confined to words and pictures. We are very much interested in video-based journalism (short documentaries, interviews, etc), so if you have something original, send us a link.
